Public resistence

Many resistence from the public about the arrest of two officials (Bibit and Chandra) of the KPK (Corruption eredication commision). Their rejection of greater from day to day. Various ways of expression made by the peoples for resisting arrested Bibit and Chandra. Starting from demos, theatrical action, pairing a black cloth in the commision office courtyard (as a symbol of mourning), used a black ribbon on the left arm, wore black clothing, until the signature gathering (at semarang , jogjakarta, jobang, bengkulu, pontianak, makasar, and many more). Not only up there, they also use the internet to mobilize support for bibit and chandra. Whether it's through instant messenger, facebook, up to the blog.

Apparently the community was so angry with the legal attitude that less transparent and disturbing sense of justice. How not, not few observers, lawyers and academics who commented that the arrested of bibit and chandra is excessive action and legally flawed (according to luhut pangaribuan and todung mulya lubis). So great was public concern about this issue with forcing the president to give response.

Some academic leaders are invited to participate in this meeting to discuss the case of legal issues between the KPK and the national police. The results of these meetings produced 3 recommendations who offered to the president. (according yahoo.co.id).

At the end, on monday 2 november 2009, the president set up a fact-finding team for bibit and chandra case. The team will consist of prominent lawyer Adnan Buyung Nasution as chairman, former national Commision of Human Rights member kusparmono Irsan as deputy chairman,  the president's special staffer on legal Denny Indrayana as secretary, according to Djoko susilo (coordinating minister for political, legal ans security affairs).

The team will have five members, namely prominent human rights lawyer Todung mulya lubis, paramadina University rector Anies Baswedan, Democratic party executive Amir syamsudin, Islamic state university rector Komarudin Syamsudin and University of Indonesia law professor Hikmahanto Juwana.

This legal issues need to support from whole elements of society, not for the purpose of supporting the two leds of the commision, but more to support the eradication of corruption on the future.
